I am first a wife to my incredible husband Chris and a mother to our fabulously delicious daughter.
From the time our Sweet Bug was born, I took literally thousands of pictures of her with my first little digital camera and discovered a fresh and exhilarating outlet for my drive to create.
Through a series of local and online workshops and seminars, I was able to gain a good basic foundation of digital photography; I scrimped and saved and purchased my very first fancy-pants Canon, have upgraded along the way and never looked back.
While primarily self-taught, I have had the joy of getting invaluable advice and critique from some amazing artists. I am most comfortable behind my lens, and take profound pride in my work. Photography has evolved into much more than just a hobby or passion or way to earn a living...it has become very much a huge part of the person I am and how I see people. I have been given the awesome gift of loving this art and I love the opportunity to share my joy through capturing families.

The interaction and level of comfort my clients feel is very important to me - if you feel awkward or uncomfortable with your photographer, it shows in the photographs. If your little one is having a rough day and nothing seems to lighten their mood to capture beautiful photos for you, I will work to accommodate or reschedule as time allows.
Natural light is glorious and I adore shooting outdoors. We also offer studio sessions either in our small home studio in Madison, our larger studio space in Brandon, at your home, or location of your choice.
People come and go, lives change and grow...time fades precious memories. Hold tightly to the ones you love and inhale every ounce of them.
