What is a portrait party?
Portrait parties are a way for you (the Hostess) to host your playgroups, sports teams, Scout troops and even Girl's Nights to a professional photography session in your home (or local park / venue) for a festive get-together with the added bonus of no pressure, relaxed professional photography sessions! I will come to your location to shoot portraits in 15 minutes increments for each of your guests (minimum of 5 guests required to book a party). In addition to the 15 minute (more or less, depending on the mood of the subject) individual session for each guest, I also take "documentary / lifestyle" pictures throughout the Party. Meaning I am a quiet observer and with the use of special lenses, am able to shoot unobtrusively and can capture great images from even the shyest of guests.

How much do Portrait Parties cost?
A sitting fee of $ 10 is charged per guest (up to a family of 3 guests, after that, please add $ 5) and is due at the start of the party. Hostesses do not pay a sitting fee and you are given the option of the first or last session of the party.
Proofs are available for on line viewing within 10 days of the Party with ordering options and discounted print package information. Proofs are viewable online for ordering for 7 days. Guests' $ 10 Party sitting fee will be credited towards print orders of $ 80 or more. By ordering from the comfort of your home, there is no pressure and if you don't love any of your images enough to purchase, there is no obligation whatsoever.

- 16x20 - $ 55.00
- A disc of your proofs in high resolution .jpg format is available for purchase for $ 50 with print purchases of $ 350 or more. These .jpg images are "read only" for your printing / internet posting ability but cannot be edited. This is simply a way to make sure my work is not edited and reproduced without my knowledge; you will receive a usage license allowing you to have your digital images printed as you please.
**All images are considered special orders and are non-refundable. Print orders are paid in full at time of order and balance is due upon delivery.**
What benefits do I receive for hosting a Portrait Party?
Hostesses pay no sitting fee for the Party and will receive two (2) 5x7 prints of your choice and print credit for 10% of the total orders from the party. For each of your Guests who book their own Portrait Party the night of or up to a week following your party, you will receive your choice of one of the following:
- 11x17 Custom photo collage
- Three (3) 5x7 prints of your choice
